In CS:GO's current build, the Terrorist exclusing SG 553 is a sexy gun with the ability to punish unsuspecting players for rushing into open areas. Armed with excellent accuracy, a 6x (figuratively I suppose) scope, and 100% armor penatration, this beast makes CT's cower in fear- well, I like to think it does anyways. So, with an excellent option like the AK-47 for the Ts, arguably the best assault rifle in every rendition of CS, how does the SG 553 hold up in play? Well, thankfully, I've spent several hours experimenting in both Deathmatch and Defuse gameplay....and the results can be found on our YouTube channel! Every now and then you get an urge to play a game from the past; whether you missed it during the initial launch or you want to go back to relive fond memories. However, nothing is more frustrating than a classic game NOT working when you launch it! One of those titles happens to be Manhunt, the 2003 Stalker/Thriller from Rockstar for the PC. Even the Steam page says you should not buy if you run Windows Vista or 7. However, eventually someone would figure out how to get this game to work- and thanks to RockStarWatch.net you can get a patcher here. It works beautifully and will get you past the first encounter crash that always stops gamers dead in their tracks! Happy Hunting everyone.
Posted by: Consecrated Every now and then a game comes out that shamelessly rips off another game. They steal all the fun parts and make them shitty, they come out with some cutesy artwork to sell to children, they advertise the crap out of it, and they make tons of big promises that they can't possibly meet. Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed is not one of those games. Here's my first review of a PC game- you can find the video here: Posted by: Consecrated
Smite is a multiplayer online battle arena game (MOBA) that is being developed by Hi-Rez studios; the makers of Tribes Ascend and Global Agenda. What differentiates Smite from other MOBA's such as League of Legends or Heroes of Newerth is the perspective. Smite takes place at ground level through a 3rd person view. Smite utilizes the Unreal Engine which provides amazing visuals and offers fast paced skill based combat. Combat in SMITE is action/skill based meaning that each attack must be aimed, movement is controlled similar to that of a first person shooter game. The best part about SMITE is that it's absolutely FREE! SMITE is free to play, not pay to win. While you can spend real money in game it doesn't afford you any advantages over a non paying player. Today the new Nvidia R331 drivers released which allows all 600 and 700 series Nvidia card's to use 2 exciting new features: Shadowplay and Game Streaming. Shadowplay is a new feature being tested by Nvidia which will allow screen capture directly from the GPU, bypassing CPU processing and allowing for exact capture. What this means for us is better capture, better audio/video, and overall better performance. Having an alternative is a godsend for FRAPS users trying to capture the latest games at max settings. More after the jump...
Posted by: Consecrated As the Battlefield 4 Open Beta comes to a close, I feel it's about to time to start sharing my thoughts on the latest entry in the franchise and what I think lies in its future. There is no doubt in my mind that Battlefield 4 will pan out much better than 3 did, and I'm excited for the full release. But, that's another post for another time. Today, I'm going to go over some basic tips to help tide the battle in your favor no batter how bad the situation (or your teammates) are.
Editor's note: AA in this article stands for Anti-Armor not Anti-Air Posted by: Consecrated I'd like to take a minute today to discuss what I consider the greatest ARPG series to come out during the last generation. Games come and go, as our steam libraries can surely attest to, or they release annual full price expansions like Call of Duty. But, we all have those games that never get uninstalled, or we keep it on our PC shelf because you never know when the urge to play through it just one more damn time will arise. While for the most part my ADD leaves my games feeling like $10 whores from China Town, there're a select few games that always have me crawling back for more. Let me introduce you to the Souls series.
